An expat grocery in Pattaya had NZ Tenderloin   for 390 THB a Kg.

he is only on Facebook ,does not reply to emails about delivery

to the North,  390 THB is very cheap, he had 500 Kgs  and sold

out fast,

Yup....the Makro on soi 71 had some good deals on tenderloins last time I was there.  Not heavily marbled but still quite tender and tasty.

Makro in Patong has Aussie Tenderloin, whole, in cryovac bag for 660/Kg, or will sell cut or 1/2 etc. for 690.

Once again not well marbled but very tender and tasty. It's my "go-to" steak now, I buy a whole tenderloin in bag and cut it to my liking at home for the freezer. Villa Market? OMG! 2-3000B!... always looks nice but I'm not paying $50 a pound for a steak I'm gonna have to cook myself.

I always feel that the steak here is too tough and not worth it... whereas at my local farm shop for 180 baht I can get a really tender filet... always good.

You mean restaurant steak?

I find the "Cape Verde, New Zealand" location a little confusing.

Those 2 countries are about as far apart as it's possible to be, and I cant' find a place name like that in NZ.

Yeah not sure about the Cape Verde thing, maybe due to me doing the Google translate!

Maybe there's a lurking Kiwi here that can enlighten us?

Cape Verde - possibly NZ's Green Meadows ?

From our local Taranaki farm, direct to your door. Export quality meat at great prices! New Zealand's premium Angus, grass-fed beef online

That's pretty good for striploin.

New Zealand Striploin Grass Fed

 Price : 590 baht/Kg

Very good ! Grass fed beef is the only that has any flavour.  Grain fed is not great.
