No VIPs jumped the queue at vaccine center, says Samut Prakan doctor

Daily News continued to report on what many said was a clear case of people jumping the vaccine queue in Bang Poo, Samut Prakan. 

 

There was uproad as hundreds waited but ten people were ushered through ahead of others. 

 

Dr Pornnarong Srimuang of the Samut Prakan health department said no VIPs got preferential treatment.

 

There was a flow problem, he said, saying that some people had arrived in the morning for afternoon jabs and they needed to redress the balance so that people could get back to their jobs. 

 

In addition there had only been 1,000 registered yet this swelled to 1,300 people with walk-ins creating further difficulty. 

 

Anyway, he said, the system has now been fine tuned to cope better in the future.

Just rang my hospital in Samut Prakan re appointment on Monday, they don't even know if they will have any sinovac and don't know if they will give it to foreigners anyway. Ring Monday to see if they had a delivery!

Back-door will be re-imagined as a VIP entrance, so the upper crust doesn't have to get too close to the plebs.

So they’ve even got the Doctors spewing out verbal diarrhoea. I tend to believe those who were most probably seated in the line for hours on end and witnessed these people jumping in front of them.

Of course not, they wern't in the queue to jump, they all went to America where they got the jab in under 30 minutes at Walmart. There's even an article about it that I posted.

Huh, so Thai logic is to push the early arrivals for the afternoon jab  ahead of those that arrived for their morning jabs ? Send them blighters home and tell them to come back as scheduled !

They couldn’t get the VIP’s to the front of the line without people seeing. THAT was the flow problem.

 

tbh, I feel sorry for the doctor that has to spout such nonsense, on the other hand, they should have organized things much better so that there wasn’t a long queue.

 

appointments are made for a purpose.

A friend said he has connections at a certain vaccination center and told me I could get vaccinated as he has arranged for his entire household including 2 maids. I turned down the offer as it is sinovac. TIT we all know people are jumping the queues.

I got my Johnson and Johnson shot at the local supermarket pharmacy. In and out in 15 minutes. Only that long because they had to observe me for 10 minutes. If they have it they have plenty of places that can administer a simple shot.
