Roaming issue on new Android phone.

Featured Replies

Just bought a new smart phone and pretty sure I have the Roaming feature turned off, but whenever I open the phone and press one of my contact numbers I get this message, why?

Do you have 2 SIMS's?  Is one non-Thai?  Have a look in SETTINGS.  Under CONNECTIONS There should be a SIM CARD MANAGER.  Under that you may find a ROAMING setting which allows you to turn ON or OFF the reminders.

Only one SIM, but will turning off the reminders still allow Roaming?

If you only have one SIM and it's a Thai SIM then you are not roaming unless you leave the country.  If you have a setting to turn off I'd give it a try, can't do any harm.

Turn off whilst here to avoid message, turn back on before you leave.

OR just ignore the msg as its warning you the roaming is activated and if you were outside would cost more to use.
