June 19, 20215 yr Firstly thank you for all previous posts regarding Thai electrical supplies and especially to crossy for the very detailed supply configurations I have just one more question on this subject? I’ll try getting it across without sounding too dumb (wish me luck) so let’s say in the west you can easily see the earthing arrangement at the head tnc-s etc in the uk this would also contain a fuse rated at between 60-100A However here in Thailand in most cases you have phase & Neutral clamped from the overhead dropping down to the meter and then two cores going away to the consumer unit so how do you determine if the neutral has a combined earth? kind Regards Dave
June 19, 20215 yr Most do. The way to be sure is look at the supply poles, around every 3 pole will have an earth if yours does.
