geovalin Posted July 26, 2021 Share Posted July 26, 2021 36 Chinese nationals were arrested when the ship carrying them was boarded by by border police in waters off Sihanoukville. According to police sources, the Koh Rong Samloem border police force stopped the large steel vessel on the 24th of July. The ship hailed from the the port of Po’an on Xiaori island, Fujian Province, China and had made a journey of approximately 2,000 nautical miles. 2 Cambodians were also on the ship – named as Sim Pheng Kiphet.
