Klong Tan police in Bangkok announced the arrest of a 30 year old Thai man from Naratiwas in the far south.

Sukipree said that he had lost his job due to the pandemic and then turned to gambling to try and recoup his losses.

When that failed he got a knife and robbed two 7-Eleven stores.

Police used CCTV to trace the motorcycle he used in pursuit of his crimes and arrested him in Soi On Nut 46.

Clothes, a penknife and a 125 cc motorcycle and helmet were taken into evidence, reported Daily News.

On reflection not the best idea he ever had.

Very sad really, we live in a very quiet Soi on the outskirts of Pattaya, on the Darkside not far from Mab Prachan Lake, we keep our very high gate locked at all times, not paranoi just a simple precaution, the neighbours all have CCTV covering the short Soi & all the windows have security grills, and huge cast iron sliding doors secured with padlocks, one can't be too careful these days.????????

Yes. I do feel very sorry for him and other people affected.
