webfact
Picture Daily News Ministry of Foreign Affairs spokesman Thanee Saengrat said there was no truth to the rumor that seven Thais who strayed across the border with Laos and were arrested have been given mRNA vaccine shots. The seven were foraging in Sirinthorn district of Ubon Ratchathani when they were picked up. The foragers are now in 14 day quarantine detention after the Laos authorities contacted police in Thailand to determine who they were, reported Daily News. Negotiations are taking place between the two sides to facilitate their return to Thailand. -- © Copyright ASEAN NOW 2021-08-04 - Whatever you're going through, the Samaritans are here for you - Follow ASEAN NOW on LINE for breaking COVID-19 updates
KannikaP
The vaccine is not a CURE for Covid, it merely stops the person from getting very ill, and does not stop them being contageous. It also takes two jabs to become effective in about two weeks.
Heng
Because we can't have people thinking we aren't better than Laotians.
Gottfrid
Wonder what we should believe? The government or the people?
Sydebolle
Well, the Laotians must have copied the dedicated Minister in charge of hating the "dirty farang" as tens of thousands of non-Thais are disqualified by skin colour and nationality. Despite the constitution some are more equal than others! First and above in superiority is Khon Thai of which some are losers as well. Latter is split into HiSo, WannaBeHiSo and ordinary have-nothings .......... so what exactly is the spokesman talking about once it comes to Laotians and vaccinating Khon Thai - or not? MrJ2U
Why should they? Charge them 5 times the cost of the vaccine like the Thais do. Why doesn't Thailand donate a little Home grown Astra Zeneca too there poorer neighbor despite those guys draining the Meekong.

Thailand chose Sinovac and front line medical personnel are paying the price.
