Has anyone recent;y renewed their US passport?  If so, how long did it take to get it?  I read one report that because off Covid it can take up to 18 weeks.

A passport applied for here at the US embassy takes 2 to 3 weeks to get. 

The 18 weeks your read about was for those applied for in the states.

Son applied for his first adult US passport in June. Received exactly two weeks after application.
