Tayida
Trying to apply for a 60 day tourist visa: coming from the UK and tried to fill out the application online yesterday. The questions were quite in depth for the 60 tourist visa asking about proof of invitation to Thailand and other weird questions about income which I wouldn’t have thought we’d need for just a 60 day tourist visa. Has anyone tried to apply for this recently? I wonder if you could talk me through the application and give me some help. Maybe I went wrong somewhere and selected the wrong visa application. BritTim
It is a generic application, designed for all the different kinds of visas supported. Some items (an example is proof of invitation) do not apply when asking for a tourist visa. No income statement is needed for a single entry tourist visa, but it is best to provide evidence that you have the equivalent of at least 20,000 baht in your bank account. tonray
A lot easier to come in on a visa exemption which will give you I believe 45 days currently and you can apply for a 30 day extension which is a formality, giving you a hassle free 75 days, COE requirements not withstanding.
