NONTHABURI (NNT) - Prime Minister Gen Prayut Chan-o-cha has visited a Factory Sandbox producing furniture in Nonthaburi, set up through public and private cooperation and serving as a model for further large format factory sandboxes.

Prime Minister and Minister of Defense Gen Prayut Chan-o-cha, accompanied by Minister of the Interior Gen Anupong Paojinda and Minister of Labor Suchat Chomklin, visited S.B. Furniture Industry Co. Ltd.’s factory sandbox program, listening to a briefing on its operational plans by company executives. The PM then handed down policy before visiting social security holders receiving RT-PCR tests at the factory’s sports field.

Under the factory sandbox program, S.B. Furniture Industry regularly conducts Antigen Test Kit screenings and has divided workers into day and night shifts. Under Sandbox Zero Case protocols, the facility adheres to strict virus prevention measures such as screening and quarantining the sick. Between July and September this year, the factory saw 453 cases of COVID-19 infection with 447 recoveries. So far, 1,084 of its staff have received both vaccination doses out of a total of 1,091 people, amounting to 99.5 percent.

I read this part and my mind immediately thought it was a factory for building children's playground equipment for in sandboxes, then I realized he was just showing his mug so he could be seen as doing something since he survived the vote last weekend.

I have been under the impression he resigned his army position to run in the election, as a citizen of Thailand and not an army person.

If the above is correct that he did resign his post and position, why is his "title/rank " still used??

It is a desperate effort to make a terrible leader, who is very weak, feeble, unpopular, and failing at everything he does, and diminishing everything he touches, look strong. It is an optical game, intended to deceive the remaining 1% who still support him, believe he is capable. That is all it is.

And why have the canning factories not been shut down? We could all live without juice for a month. They have been an absolute plague, with regard to the spread of Covid.

That's so he can have a 'General' Election all for himself.
