Extension of Stay, what docs?

Recommended Posts

Hi,

I am just going to my extension of stay based on my OA visa (at Cheang Wattana), can I just check with you all that I have all the attachments or am I missing somethings:

Bank letter/statement for 800k (seasoned)

Application form

2 photos

p/copy of visa

orig passport and copy of main page

Map of home

Copy of home deeds (or rental contract)

OA Thai insurance 40/400

Covid insurance 100k (?)

Copy of TM30

I live in fear of not having something they might want, I don't like going to CW.

Cheers?

OP, you should make small deposit/withdrawal on day of application. You can do that at banks located at CW.

Be aware SCB does not have branch there. You can also obtain bank letter at same time if suits you.

TM30 not required but never hurts to take extra stuff. I would also take along most recent 90 report receipt (not required)

Covid insurance is to my knowledge not necessary for extension of stay - only for entering Thailand - whilst the 400k + 40k baht health insurance is mandatory for OA extension.

Correct and to add, one needs to be careful with the dates.

The extension will only be dated to the date the 40/400 insurance ends.
