Low-lying areas in the Bangkok Metropolitan Area have been told to brace for possible flooding as dams upstream discharged water to mitigate flooding in northern provinces, officials said on Tuesday.

At least 1,933 villages and 58,977 households have been affected across 23 provinces, the Department of Disaster Prevention and Mitigation said.

Among the worst hit provinces were Lopburi (37,451 households affected), Sukhothai (7,392), Ayutthaya (4,560), Surin (2,923), Nakhon Sawan (1,150) and Suphan Buri (1,128).

But Prayut and the Bangkok governor have both stated no floods.

Prayut lies again but it will be forgotten by tomorrow.

The list of lies is too long to remember. ????

Right hand meet left hand.

Another year, another flood, This is Thailand.
