September 28, 20214 yr In previous years I've always worn a cycle helmet when riding a motor scooter around Phuket - partly because the lids supplied with hire scooters are next to useless, and partly because the push-bike ones are light, comfortable and ventilated. It's never been a problem at road blocks and I've noticed that quite a few expats/tourists do the same thing. So, my question is - is this still okay or have the cops clamped down on this in the last couple of years? Edited September 28, 20214 yr by London Lowf To make it better!
September 28, 20214 yr If you have to wear something on your head then why not wear something decent. Like a quality mc helmet.
September 28, 20214 yr Author Thanks for the advice - this is how I used to dress to ride, but it would look a bit silly down beach road on a PCX! I'm not a risk-averse person, although to some folk that would mean I'm stupid.
September 28, 20214 yr . I once saw a guy with a colander on his head get waved through a helmet checkpoint in CM.... Yes, really.
