Visiting the elderly/handicapped/bedridden.

Well, good effort but why they can't use a proper EMS or other van?

Looks a bit like a PR stunt?

At the vaccination here in the subdistrict a whole armada of vehicles and staff came from the district hospital. Incl. computers/monitors, mobile router and UPS to do the registration and such. And except for the bedridden everyone found someone to help with transport (max 2 km to the health station).

Together with improvised side car vaccine services being initiated and promoted on facebook, it won't be long before most elderly folk, who they were mainly helping and making aware of the service, are double jabbed...........Good effort by the authorities..........................................

It seems to me from watching the video that they are taking the service out to those who cannot easily get to the vaccination centres.

 

A very commendable outreach service.

I showed this to my wife. She told me There  are teams going around the villages, (not necessarily travelling like this) delivering the service to those who cannot reach the vaccine centres. They typically set up shop in the temple.

 

Apparently, despite a slow start due 'vaccine reluctance', 80% of the villagers around here are now accepting the shots.

 

With initiatives like this, Thailand could well reach its target and very commendably, a lot of the work is being done by volunteers.
