Booster shot campaign in capital to begin Oct 11

Cambodia has so far vaccinated over 84 per cent of the total population of 16 million, with more than 11 million people having received their second dose, according to the national Covid-19 vaccination committee.

A new campaign administering a third dose is set to begin on October 11. Thus far, nearly one million have received the booster shot.

As of October 9, the country had inoculated 99.18 per cent of the adult population of 10 million and 89.76 per cent of the 12-17 age group of nearly two million.
