Cambodia listed as one of the leading countries in the world for COVID-19 vaccinations

The Ministry of Health of the Kingdom of Cambodia, quoting data from the FT Vaccine tracker, said that that Cambodia is now one of the leading countries in the world for Covid-19 vaccination. In the Asean region, Cambodia ranks second behind Singapore while for Asia, Cambodia ranks third behind Singapore and China.

 

It is predicted that Cambodia will reach the top 5/7 in all three categories on October 31 due to the second dose processes for children and booster shots for adults.

 

For adults, Cambodia has given the first dose to about 99.32 percent for people  over the age of 18, of whom more than 95 percent have been fully vaccinated and 90.07 percent of adolescents aged 12 to 18  who have received their first dose along with 1,658,579 who have been fully vaccinated with both doses and children aged six to 12, 97.08 percent of whom have received at least one dose while 911,128 have received their second dose.
