NoshowJones
Everytime I try to download, a notice comes up that my C disk is full, on checking it, I notice loads of things that I don't understand, I don't want to empty it in case there are things on it that the computer needs. Anyone tell me what I can delete and what I can't. Thanks.

Many delete stuff but do not empty the recycle bin. Then run as suggested the disk cleaner. Then start looking at the folders/files that you recognise and decide if you want to keep or dispose. If you want to keep, copy to external storage such as a flash drive. Don't forget if you delete to empty the recycle bin. Good luck. 1
fangless
No need for 3rd party muck. Right click on "c" drive and click properties and disk cleanup and away you go. Also look at the free space figures before and after. This process takes a little while so give it time, like go make a cup of coffee or something.
