Vaccine resistant mutant strain? This bodes not well.

Featured Replies

It will likely kill off those who refused the vaccine first than all the innocent people afterwards. You have mostly the United States to blame. Remember its all a Democratic hoax.

Considering this is from a known covid denier. The net is. Get the jabs so this virus won't mutate!

From that article. Deal with this virus or suffer continued lockdowns. Anti vaxxers are the biggest problem we have.

As a consequence, the potential spread of the A.30 variant warrants close monitoring and rapid installment of countermeasures.

One issue not discussed is the infectiousness of this new variant. It’s possible that mutation of the spike protein reduces its capability to infect.

Also note the suspected origin in Tanzania, a rare case of a country that denies Covid is an issue, and does not test for Covid. I would recommend that countries that deny Covid be quarantined.

Vaccinations significantly reduce infections, transmission and mutations of the virus.

And they'll keep repeating this until all is real and true.

There's no real scientific evidence or models towards your statement above.

You mean to say your internet friends have not shown you any evidence that vaccines work.

But, five minutes on Google would reveal many clinical trials showing efficacy of vaccines.

Also, if you track the progress of the epidemic in countries as vaccinations increase, you can see the virus disappearing.

First of all, im vaccinated.

And no, we are not saying the same thing. One crowd wants people to believe that the vaccination stops mutations, infections, and transmission and frames it in a specious way with a smug, absolute demeanor. Im posting the unmitigated truth that what they are saying is factually incorrect.

But it actually does stop infections and it does stop mutations, not 100% but at a much higher level as the unvaccinated.

Same like we say that seat belts prevent deaths, they might not prevent 100% but we still say they prevent deaths. Same goes for umbrella's they prevent rain from falling upon you, even if its not 100%. Your not right

Same goes for covid, vaccines prevent spread and mutations, though not 100%

That is the truth

It does not matter if you call it stopping / preventing it does all that just not with 100% efficiency.

But what is the point it all comes down to the same thing, the vaccine helps curb the spread of the virus and by doing so stops the virus from mutating as much as it could in a fully unvaccinated population.

They do not stop transmission or infection. This is an unmitigated, completely documented fact.

They reduce it drastically. Stop trolling. Misinformation helps no one.

I'll have you know that the  President of Tanzania emphatically denied that Covid had killed anyone in his country. And he kept on denying it right up until the the time he died from it.
