MANILA – One lucky person got an early Christmas gift by becoming an instant millionaire, after winning the PHP125-million jackpot prize in Thursday night's draw of the Super Lotto 6/49, the Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO) said Friday.

In an advisory, the agency said the bettor guessed the winning combination 05-03-10-17-43-49 with a jackpot of PHP125,692,139.20.

Worth US$2,484,765, the ticket was purchased in San Carlos City, Pangasinan.

Some fifteen other bettors who guessed five correct numbers won second prize and will receive PHP50,000 each while 1,567 bettors got PHP1,200 each for getting four numbers.

A total of 32,494 bettors won PHP50 each for guessing three right digits.

To claim the check, the bettor must go to PCSO's main office in Mandaluyong City, present two IDs, and bring the winning ticket.

The 6/49 Super Lotto is drawn every Tuesday, Thursday, and Sunday.

PCSO general manager Royina Garma urged the public to keep on patronizing the products of PCSO as a large chunk of its revenue goes to charity programs.

The PCSO serves as the principal government agency for raising and providing funds for health programs, medical assistance and services, and charities of national character. (PNA)
