Popular Post 888huahin
Hello, This is my very first post so please be gentle, Whilst l am sitting here in the UK patiently waiting for the "Thailand Pass" Website which has crashed yet again, to come back to life, l would like to spend these few minutes venting my frustration at the Donkey's who lead the Thai Civil Service in particular the "Department of Consular Affairs" yes YOU. To these people everything seems logical, but they just don't seem to think things through, but are quite eager to pat each other on the back for a job well done, all they have created is a bottle neck, it was very obvious for weeks before, they were so specific that the Thailand Pass go online on the 1st November. Firstly the the COE. Certificate of Entry was flawed, they killed it off too soon, on the 31st October thinking that everyone's application could be attended to, whilst people like me and l can only assume many others who had been pushed towards the "Phuket sand Box" scheme and locked in unable to there COE details for 15 days awaiting Flight updates that were never going to happen, Phuket was never my intended destination, just an option at the time. My frustration now is that out of my family of 4, 1 was rejected by the COE with all the same data in the application as the others, and now again with the "Thailand Pass" you guessed it out of my family of 4, 1 was rejected by the "Thailand Pass" meaning extra AQ hotels, Travel Insurance and Flight changes. Does anyone have any contact details telephone/emails for my friends at TP "Thailand Pass"?, suppose to be flying on the 11th Nov 2

Mitkof Island
Sorry to hear about your issues with the Thailand Pain In The A$$ site don,t feel bad thousands of others have failed after numerous attempts. I knew well enough long ago not even to bother and save my life a great deal of stress, money, loss of time, and depression. Once I saw the words Covid insurance for those already vaccinated which I saw coming months ago that sealed the deal. With a family in Thailand I have not seen in almost two years in short I told the Thai government to stuff it. I suggest you and others do the same. 1

jimn
I agree the Thailand Pass is a poor system and should have been introduced gradually for various embassys a bit by bit and ironing out issues on the way, keeping the COE until the Thailand Pass was perfected. I disagree with you about the COE, it was easy to understand and having used it twice very quick. Edited November 8, 2021 by jimn
