Over the last 24 hours, 7,107 tests were completed around the country, with 1049 new cases verified, according to the National Taskforce for Covid-19 Prevention and Control. Across the country, there were 1045 cases of community spread and four imported cases. New Deaths On Sunday evening, a 52-year-old woman died in Donekhaxay Village, Hatsaifong District, Vientiane Capital. She was diabetic and had high blood pressure. She had not received the Covid-19 vaccine. A 65-year-old woman died at the hospital yesterday evening in Xaylom Village, Luang Prabang City, Luang Prabang Province. She was diabetic and had a heart condition. She had not received the Covid-19 vaccine. Yesterday evening, a 40-year-old man from Nongniew Village, Vientiane Capital, died in 103 Hospital. Asthma, hypertension, and a gall bladder infection plagued him. The Sinopharm Covid-19 vaccine had only been given to him once.
