Does anyone know the thai word for making out with a girl??

I don't actually mean with reference to sex itself but more the 'clothes on, making out, without sex.' I guess in everyday farang speak this would translate to 'dry humping' or 'frottage'.

Anyone heard what the thai equivalant is? :o

Moderators, please allow this post as, in the interests of the forum community at large surely its a common enough occurance between consenting adults to warrant a translation.

Regards,

Zantos

According to www.thai-language.com to make out is:

jap meuu theuu khaaen - verb - to make out; make love; to touch each other; to snuggle.

You can also listen to a media file for the correct pronunciation on that site. Hope this helps. Cheers.

Not an exact translation I know, but I often hear มีอะไรกัน in the sense of 'something happened between those two'.

มีอะไรกัน will definitely imply sex.

นัวเนีย is a possibility, suggesting more snuggling and kissing.

all the best.

Thanks for all your responses guys :o

On นัวเนีย:

I've put this through the translator online and it comes out as:

[ V ] confuse ; muddle ; disturb ; perturb ; ruffle

* [ ADV ] confusedly ; in disorder

Very strange! Perhaps its the local vernacular for making out is it?

qualtrough is right. จู๋จี๋ is the word we used in Thai.

I knew that because I used to do that from time to time. I am married now... :o

hi again,

another suggestion, this time in the 'rhyming expression' style...

กอดจูบลูบคลำ

not as cute as จู๋จี๋ though...

all the best

กอดจูบลูบคลำ

IMO กอดจูบลูบคลำ is the most direct translation of "making out". Making out may include prolonged kissing, necking, groping or heavy petting. กอดจูบลูบคลำ gives the impression of the hanky-panky that is going on.

I feel จู๋จี๋ covers a range of actions from chit chat to light contact. some may use it to include making out. Anyway, when I hear someone จู๋จี๋ with another, I don't necessarily associate it with the more serious going-ons in making out.

Someone may have a different opinion?
