i landed at manchester airport in July 2021, it was very busy but the arrivals staff

motioned me to put my passport in to get scanned, and within minuets i spotted my ride

never thought much about it till yesterday, yes i booked another flight and as i was using

his scanner and printer for all the copies ect ect, my friend was looking at my passport,

all of a sudden my friend said where are your stamps ? i asked what he  meant and he

showed me a blank page IIII i did not know what was going on but when i got the passport

he was right no stamps no nothing ?

at first i was a bit shocked  and then i recalled that i was waved onto the contraption by

the airport staff and after a few minuets i got my passport back ,  now i wonder is this the

new thing ? or am i going to have problems at the airport ? i think i will give Manchester airport

a call or has anyone had similar shocks, surely if the machine was not functioning they would 

get intouch? and it doesn't say much for security at our Airports. 

It is quite normal now only scan and no stamping. I am sure your entry record is there.
