Daily News reported that a 60 year old Bangkok resident called Natthiya Assanuwong has had enough of a huge LED advertisement making her life a misery in Soi Thong Lo, Sukhumvit 55, Bangkok.

The eight meter x 32 meter advertisement spans six shop houses.

Thong Lo police called it "light pollution".

The BMA have told the police to get their fingers out and prosecute.

The ad company have been asked to tone down the light to make it less annoying while a case is being made against the building owners who didn't seek permission for the sign's installation.

What action is actually taken will all be decided in the New Year when all the documents are sorted said Thong Lo station chief Pol Col Duangchot Suwanjaras.

The use of LED lighting is completely over the top everywhere

Here in Phuket within a couple of Shopping Malls it is completely out of control in as much people just avoid certain areas

Also there was this huge sign spanning By-Pass Road which was blinding at nighttime

Ahh well TIT
