Thai police vow not to allow opposition groups to use Thai territory against Cambodian government

In a meeting in Bangkok, Lt. Gen. Virak Chhay Summetta, Deputy Commissioner General of the Thai National Police, promised and committed to prevent any activities of opposition groups acting against the Royal Government Cambodia.

The promise and commitment was made to Sok Sokretya, Personal Adviser to Prime Minister Hun Sen. The senior Thai police official also claimed that he did not allow any opposition group to use Thai territory to insult or oppose the Cambodian government.

Lt. Gen. Summeta’s statement was made during a recent meeting with Dr. Sokretya in Bangkok, Thailand.

The above meeting was held to strengthen the friendship and solidarity between the Royal Government of Cambodia and the Thai Police.
