Temperatures to drop to 16 degrees for parts of Cambodia

Cambodia’s ‘cold spell’ continues – with The Ministry of Water Resources and Meteorology forecasting more cold weather for Cambodia from today to December 22, 2021. The ministry said that during this period, Cambodia will be affected by low pressure, a high pressure wing from China and northeast monsoon.

 

Effects are also being felt from the 22nd typhoon RAI, which may pass through the Philippines into the South China Sea. During December 19-21, the storm headed for Vietnam near the coast and then turned back to Hainan Island, continuing to ascend into the sea, whose influence also diminished.

 

The Ministry forecasts:

1: Provinces in the central lowlands
* Minimum temperature 23-25 ° C
* Maximum temperature 34-36 ° C
* On December 20-21, the weather will be cold with a minimum temperature of 17- 19 ° C and maximum 25-27 ° C.
