I just got a refund check from the IRS after a dispute, and it included 8% interest. Looking at their interest information, I believe it safe to assume this is for two years. Does anyone know for certain? 

 

I am trying to figure out what year was for.

 

Incidentally, I just lost my e-deposit cherry using the Chase app and that is just as slick as can be. So glad I did not mail it....
