2.3 million doses of Pfizer COVID-19 from Australia bound for Cambodia

Prime Minister Hun Sen announced that Cambodia will be receiving 2.3 million doses of Pfizer Covid-19 vaccines from Australia will be arriving in Cambodia before the year ends.

 

In an audio message announcing the end of the infamous “February 20 Community Event” released on December 20, Mr Hun Sen said, “”Hopefully, next Sunday (December 26), the Australian vaccine Pfizer will be delivered on the night the 26th and 28th.”

 

 

Prime Minister will be personally receiving the vaccine at the Phnom Penh International Airport. The vaccines that will be arriving, is part of the assistance from the Australian government towards Cambodia. through purchase and assistance from foreign countries and the COVAX Facility, Cambodia has secured more than 40 million doses of Covid-19 vaccines.
