Renewal of 5 year driving licence in Pattaya

I am due to renew my licence in February, has anyone renewed at the Pattaya office recently ??

 

I think I need the following documents:-

1.  Copies of my passport face page and current visa extension stamp

2. Copies of both sides of my current licence

3. The current licence

4, A letter from Immigration confirming my address.

 

Do we still need to make any appointment ? Or can I just show up on the day ?

Also I was told that you can watch the safety video at home, then print off some kind of paperwork to confirm you have done that.

Or do we now have to sit in the room annd watch it ??
