Insurance confirmation

Recommended Posts

After Turkish Airlines canncelled my flight without any reason i just booked a new flight with Singapore Airlines. I read here in the forum that if I have a European travel health insurance, there is a form from the Thai authorities which my insurance company has to sign. Where can I find this form? Thank you for your help.

Moving this to the correct forum.

OP please clarify if you are talking about the required US50K insurance to enter Thailand or special insurance to qualify for an O_A or new O visa.

If yo uare applying for an O or O-A visa the form is here  https://longstay.tgia.org/companiesoa

(click on download foreign certificate)

If it is for Thailand Pass to meet the 50K requirement, there is no form. You should upload your insurance certificate or get a statement (in English) from your insurer stating you are covered in Thailand , the coverage includes COVID, and the amount (if there is a limit).

I only stay 52 days cause i have to go back to germany to dissolve my company. I want to apply for the Single Entry Tourist Visa. So this is with Thailand Pass and the 50K requirement, right?

You can also enter visa exempt that will allow a stay of 30 days that can be extended for 30 days. No need to apply for a tourist visa.

You will need to a apply for a Thailand Pass ( https://tp.consular.go.th/ ) and have $50,000 of insurance coverage ( see https://covid19.tgia.org/ ).

As above and there is no specific form. Just a copy of your insurance certificate or statement from the insurer. Make sure it mentions COVID.

Nite that there is talk being bandied about of requiring people to have more extensive COVID policies that cover things like quarantine for asymptomatic cases, if this is made law then it would usually necessitate a separate local policy

Even if my flight back is after the 30 days? What is about the return ticket?

Get a 60 day policy from one of the Thai insurance companies, good to have anyway, I'm amazed at seeing so many close calls the foreigners have on the motorsai. You're flying Singapore Air, you'll need a return or onward air ticket.

If entering with a visa a return or onward ticket is not required.

If entering visa exempt the airline will be the ones wanting it not immigration.

Thirty days will be accept for the Thailand Pass application.
