I'm new in Phuket and have to do my visa-run. Any recommended visa runs from Kamala? Or is there for about the same price an easier option to fly in and out somewhere in one day?

Once taxes are involved the cheapest flights I have done have been Sing on Jetstar and tiger for about 4.5 - 5k..

Plenty of visa runs up to Ranong.. Most very quiet these days as visa running is getting so much less useful. Just check the gazette for a list.
