Hi, I just recently moved in to Bangkok for work.

 

I am looking for specialist doctor recommendation for,

- Autoimmune

- Oncologist-Hematologist

- My sole of foot hurts when I walk, so probably orthopedic or neurologist.

Not sure where you are located but the Best hospitals in BKK to check would be  Bumrungrad and Samitivej hospitals doctors for what you need, they have a good selection of medical practitioners fro all purposes...

You will need many specialists to cover all of these needs.

For the start, if not very urgent, just ask the local people where is the nearest clinics specialised for that kind of problem. Open at 5 pm where the local people are waiting. It's more easier (and cheaper) than to get into the hospital, sometimes you get the same doctor as you would see in the hospital. Anyway, after consultation with him (her) - and if not fully satisfied - you always can go to a hospital.

Those sort of clinics are found mainly upcountry (and, in most places, very limited in function as well - Chuiang Mai being a notable exception)

 

OP is in Bangkok. "Clinics" there are usually best avoided.  And would almost certainly not have the specialities needed.

Of course, there are everywhere in Thailand.

I, for myself, have got a good experience (admitted, not in Bkk) with few of my urgent problems that had been later remedied in hospital. And also not so urgent cases that had been fully remedied by the clinics doctor.      

Thank you everyone for the response, I will keep in my mind to avoid "clinic".

Most of the larger sporting goods chain stores such as Decathlon have a decent selection of arch supports. 

Arch supports helped me when I had the same sort of foot pain resulting from poorly constructed shoes.

That puts an entirely different light on things, likely the foot pain is related to your Scleroderma so the foot specialist I mentioned may nto be the best option.

 

Can you afford treatment at a private hospital?  (outpatient of course - but still may add up to quite a bit given the seriousness & complexity of your conditions)

 

If you are working here, are you under Thai Social Security? If so which is your registered hospital?

 

And is this systemic or localized scleroderma?

Had a long walk few weeks ago before it occurred, but yeah you might be right.

 

I'm not under Thai Social Security, just in here temporarily (2-3 years).

 

I'm okay with Private Hospital Recommendation for outpatient treatment.

 

It's systemic but still in very early stage and just diagnosed like 3 months ago.

 

For clarity, the DLBCL is on remission since 8 years ago.

 

So what I need is mostly regular prescription for my AI, such as Dorner, Orinox, Hayloquin.

I'm not sure you need a doctor to prescribe your meds in Thailand - definitely do not need a script for Etoricoxib  (generic name for Orinox, orinox brand is not available here). I have not heard the brand name "Hayloquin" but I am guessing it is a brand of chloroquine/ hydroxychloroquine which likewise is sold over the counter in Thailand (many local brand names).  I am not sure what you mean by Dorner, the only drug by that name I am familiar with is an anticoagulant which does nto seem relevant.

 

The private hospital mark-up on medications is huge, so this point is important - you can and should get most of your meds over the counter at a pharmacy. By pharmacy, I mean a large, Thai pharmacy and not a Boots or Watsons.  There are some good online pharmacies here such as

But of course you should still get periodic follow up for your scleroderma.  These are some good, well qualified, western-trained rheumatologists:
