markusss
Hey everyone. I recently got my Thai pass approved with 30 days insurance coverage. I would like to get a TR visa but the insurance i paid for to get my Thai pass covers 30 days. I know it's possible to extend the duration of my insurance coverage, but will it be accepted with my Thai pass on arrival? Or am i now stuck with the insurance coverage i submitted with my Thai pass application? Thanks!
glegolo18
Use exempt as entry to Thaland and insurance OK
ubonjoe
You can still use the 30 day insurance after getting a tourist visa. It is choice to extend it if you want to.
spidermike007
Immigration here does not seem to have any concern over the insane Thai Pass requirements, once you are in the country. You will not be asked for covid insurance if you extend your visa here.
DrJack54
OP, stick with the 30 day coverage. You will be stamped into Thailand for 60 days. Any extension etc you apply for after entry does not require insurance.
