chang50
Hi.If this is in the wrong section please move.I plan to have an operation going into hospital on Feb.27th and have been told I need to take a PCR test by the hospital.I was ok on my last ATK test recently.I am worried despite them telling me I can self isolate at home if I am positive that they will make me go into an expensive quarantine hotel. Is it still possible to buy cheap covid insurance to cover this eventuality? DrJack54
They would tell you to isolate at home. You could always buy a ATK test prior.

chang50
Just phoned an insurance broker the cheap covid insurance available before is no longer being sold due to the high number of claims..

Sheryl
As another poster said, you could buy an ATK and test yourself first before undergoing test at the hospital. If it comes up positive, postopne everything by about 2 weeks.
