Supachai: Overseas propaganda failing

Thailand's top-ranking international civil servant, Secretary General of the United Nations Conference on Trade and Development (UNCTAD) Supachai Panitchaphakdi, suggested Monday morning that the interim government assign cabinet members to promote better understanding on many aspects of the Thai government and the political and economic situation facing the country.

"Although we, the Thai people working abroad, have tried our best to clarify some problems, it is hard to promote a good understanding. Should a senior member of the government be assigned to clarify them abroad, it would be better and easier," Mr Supachai said.
