webfact Posted February 18, 2022 Share Posted February 18, 2022 Picture: Thai Rath Thai Rath reported that Plaengyao police in Chachoengsao in central/eastern Thailand were called to a factory in the area after an aluminium smelting machine exploded during repairs to a gas pipe. Though the machine had been switched off it is thought that residual gas in the system ignited. Picture: Thai Rath Dead at the scene was 47 year old Charnchai. The force of the explosion of the gas - used to fuel the machine - had blown his clothes off. Four others were taken to Bhudasothon Hospital with serious injuries.
