Early on Monday morning police raided an apartment in central Pattaya after being tipped off that a group of people were engaged in the heinous crime of gambling for money. Marshalling their extensive forces the police dropped everything and rushed en masse to the scene where they apprehended five men who were clearly playing card games for monetary reward. The miscreants were taken into custody and transported to the Soi 9 station where they were charged and fined for gambling offences.
