Although think I'll find a hoist at our friendly repair shop and have a look myself and see if Isuzu mech is giving sound advice or just makin the 500 baht commission from Ziebart agent. They have a hoist - so I may do the same!: They're located on the NE corner of the traffic lights, 1km north of the circle on the "Bypass Road" - i.e. about 800m north of Villa Market in "Market Village" shopping centre. That's really a full paint shop. They did a great full body repair spray on my 18 year old 2 seater soft top 15 months ago. Guy take car my old car is south circle opposite new Shell station. I used to live there for a few years and that's where all my local deliveries were directed. Mangosteen hump maybe the name opposite across the road. Being one of the highest points in Rawai it was standing room only there during Tsunami false alarms. Yes, they did both rear side panels on my pickup - excellent job. That reminds me, there's a guy up my soi with a beautiful old navy blue pickup - I may ask at Hok Liam how much for a complete re-spray. My old "beige" pickup is very boring. But since we plan keep car forever we though worth spending the 4,500 baht on Zeibart treatment. Booked car in for this morning at P2 car wash, 50m past exit from Phuket City Merlin. They did good job clean off and rust with wire brush and air tools. Mask off all upper car and wheels. Full under body spray a foul looking chemical. I expected a black look but it's a bronze look. Car now in for full wash and valet in the price. Fully recommend these people. First time I have seen the spare wheel since we bought the car.
