snoop1130 Posted February 24, 2022 Share Posted February 24, 2022 PHOTO: National News Bureau of Thailand Valves of the damaged oil pipelines that caused a major oil spill have been shut off and workers are preparing to remove 12,000 liters of remaining oil from the pipes, the Marine Department reported today, February 24th. Phuriphat Theerakulpisuth, Deputy Director of the Marine Department, told the Associated Press that the situation of oil leak from the Star Petroleum Refining Public Company Limited (SPRC) was unfolding as the authorities had managed to successfully shut off all three valves on Wednesday, February 23rd. The department also ensured the public that there would be no more oil leaks.
