Bangkok Gun Shooting Range

Featured Replies

I seen on the internet that there are shooting ranges in Bangkok. I have shot rifles and shot guns (clay pigeons) many times in Canada but would like to try hand guns. All I find on the web are tours with hotel pickups etc for high tourist prices. I read there is a range near Wat Poh and it costs about 100 baht/10 rounds. The tourist tours charge 200-300 baht/10 rounds as expected. Has anyone gone to the ranges and can tell me where it is and how much they payed just going without a tour?

The shooting range u talk about is across the road from wat pho in a small milliatary base which has an entrance on the corner of the square.

The price of rounds differs accordingly as u have certain choices of weapons to use

All of the soldiers are fully aware to take anyone wishing to use the shooting range through the millitary compound and escort you to the range

There is an Indoor range in Silom Thaniya Plaza building 2nd floor. It's adjacent to the Sala Daeng BTS station

Is it?

I'd assumed {we all know what that means} that it was an office for organised tours to the above shooting range.

This Shooting Range near Wat Pho is in the Territorial Defence Department area (Military). It opens everyday from 9am - 6pm. You can check by contacting +6681 835 8117 (Audy) or +6681 346 4637 (Auriga). I went there and it is really good place. I will go there again during my stay. You can try.

I go to one in Bang Na, good fun ! my Thai friend has got loads of different guns.

Many in BKK

There is private one in Bangbuathong area of BKK that open every days Tel. 02 922 7004

One in the Military Police Camp on Sri Ayuthaya Road, Phyathai District.

One in the Army Camp, Guard Batallian 2 on Phahonyothin Road.

One in the Army Camp, Guard Regiment 1 on Vipavadi Rangsit Road. half km. beyond the Vateran Hospital but before the Army Stadium

etc.

Most shooting range has no gun for hire. The places where you can hire guns are for tourist and they charge you a lot. I heard of 100B or more a bang while the normal box of 50 wad/semi-wad cutter ammo in 9 MM. or .38 cost only 750-800 B

It also can be dangerous at the tourist shooting range as many shooters have not been trained before.

The range has been relocated to "Military Police Battalion Division 11", near Victory Monument Bangkok. The one near Wat Pho is closed for security matter. For your information, friends.

Gun lover!!

Do you have to bring your own gun? Where might one get one of those from?
