Is there anyway to contact Bangkok Bank when you are overseas ?

Featured Replies

For some strange reason, I am able to log in but not able to perform any transactions via iBanking, including send an email via the bank's "bank mail".

And when I called BBL from overseas, I was either greeted by an answering machine or made to listen to music forever.

Is there any other way that customers overseas can hook up with the bank ?

BBL, like all banks, has an automated system that answers its 02 645 5555 contact number initially, it is not an "answering machine" in the sense of a facility just to leave messages when no one's there.

Listen to the English recording and press the required number, it may be a bit long-winded but it does work and a real person will answer.   If you choose to hang up before being attended to that is your choice.

You could be geographically blocked. Have you tried to use a vpn, connecting to a server in Thailand, and then see if you can access and perform transactions?

even if you call from within Thailand, you get put on hold forever too, so it's nothing to do with being overseas
