shopping on amazon.au? find a shipper to send to TH?

Recommended Posts

Of course I can't find some quality things here in Thailand.... like a decent vacuum for rugs.

Amazon.com.au won't ship to Thailand.

I know USA has companies that will accept multiple deliveries and amalgamate them before shipping onward to TH.

Anyone know of such a service available in AUS?

I have used Amazon to ship some items to Thailand and it didn’t cost too much

You need to select the section or drop down that says ships internationally or ships to Thailand

As you can see one item will ship and one won’t

I regularly order from both the Amazon US and UK sites with no problem.   Out of interest, I just looked at the com.au site and specifically vacuum cleaners.   The ones I saw were actually being sent from the US.   I find that even paying import duty and delivery costs, most of the items are still cheaper than I could purchase in Thailand.   They also regularly reimburse import fees where they have been less than that calculated.   Here's one such refund notification that I received two days ago.

Thank you for the helpful responses.

I used Amazon as an example.  I am hoping to use an Australian receiving/shipping company for other online sites as well.  Amazon doesn't currently sell a vacuum to suit my requirements.

I have queries out to other online stores to find out if they ship to Thailand.

Thailand sell some good brands here like Dyson.

Are you sure it can't be sourced locally?

What brand and model are you after?

I'm looking for a good vacuum for rugs.  I prefer those with a motor driven brush.  I don't see a Dyson model with that feature.  I based my opinion on Consumer Report's ratings of vacuum features.

Fair enough.

I have a Dyson and it works well on my rugs.

If you could provide a model number, could have a look around.
