I know USA has companies that will accept multiple deliveries and amalgamate them before shipping onward to TH. Anyone know of such a service available in AUS? Out of interest, I just looked at the com.au site and specifically vacuum cleaners. The ones I saw were actually being sent from the US. I find that even paying import duty and delivery costs, most of the items are still cheaper than I could purchase in Thailand. They also regularly reimburse import fees where they have been less than that calculated. Here's one such refund notification that I received two days ago. I am hoping to use an Australian receiving/shipping company for other online sites as well. Amazon doesn't currently sell a vacuum to suit my requirements.
