58-year-old man survives after being hit by a train in Chonburi

A 58-year-old man was reported as seriously injured after allegedly attempting suicide by getting hit by a train with a possible motive to follow his departed friend.

 

The Phan Thong inspector Mr. Charuk Phothong and the rescue team went to Bang Nang – Phanthong railway, Na Pradu sub-district, after receiving an emergency report that a man was hit by a train.

At the incident, the victim, whose name was withheld per editorial policy, 58, was lying unconscious with severe head and arm injuries, heavy bleeding, and fractured shoulders. He was then quickly transported to an emergency unit at a nearby hospital, according to the report.

 

About 200 meters from the incident scene, a yellow train numbered 5116 was parked with a bloodstain at the front, and lying beside it was a motorcycle, gray, Yamaha Mate 100, which belonged to the victim.
