Shame that children can't vote, he'd be a shoe-in.

Politics can often be a case of swings and roundabouts and making sure that standards don't slide.

A politician digging in his own pocket for a public works project??

Come on.....Even stupid people with zero critical thinking skills, wont buy this story....

I'm pretty sure that they can, will and have.

Earned through good old hardwork and honesty.

By the looks of that cheap swing set, I think the kids got ripped off...

He had a fresh, crispy brown envelope in his pocket.  Guess what?  100K Baht.  Ah well, it's for the kids ...  Good PR.

And the pavement running from Soi Arunothai to The Beach Rd on Klang remains an assault course? (Possibly the source of the playground financing?)

That playground would look better with decorative lampposts.

From his government salary.

So a Tax Free donation then.

It may also be a tad safer if the flooring was some kind of soft material instead of Bricks !

But hey ! That would have cost an extra 10 K of personal finance.

Guess who is up for re-election.  ????

Robbing Hood, what a champ

????

The repairs cost 10k, if that.  The other 90k went to the "vote for me payment" that is to be spread among the voter base on Koh Larn.

Quoting my own post here, too late to edit.

I was wrong, he isn't standing for mayor again, but is "considering" parliament.

As I posted prior, I suspect there was money left over, and then some, from the pavement jobs, all over the City that remain incomplete and derelict.
