Popular Post OneMoreFarang
Was there ever an article about such an investigation involving women getting money from men? Or are men stupid if they spend money on pretty girls and women are victims if they spend money in hope to receive expensive gifts or get a rich husband? Where are all those women groups calling for equal treatment?

Reportedly, this scam originated in Thailand.
DeaconJohn
I wonder who the "foreign nationals" were? Thailand, like the Woke West, is getting very coy about naming a certain vocal and violent demographic when they misbehave.

The report didn't say that there were any foreigners arrested. Do you just expect them to name some random West Africans?

A highly profitable long-running scam, it certainly wasn’t impeded by low IQs and/or impulse-control issues. This lot could be any of the flotsam that wash up on these shores.
freedomnow
Easy enough to say the older women were stupid for being tricked - but it's babystep-by-step stuff clouded by emotion. I never thought I'd get scammed in my life and I did - and badly - but got the money back and only just...blind confidence...
