cali4995
Pilgrim2505, your next visit should initiate a "new" 6-month period. But if you wish to avoid a delay at the airport while they figure this out, plus possibly having to show onward confirmed travel documentation before boarding or upon arrival in Thailand it may be much less stressful to simply get a tourist visa. -------------------------------------------------------------------- This wording comes from the website of the Thai consulate in Los Angeles: There are 41-odd countries that qualify for this 30-day visa exempt entry: Passport holders from the countries below can visit Thailand without a visa for the maximum of 30 days stay per entry with a total peroid of stay not exceeding 90 days within 6 months from the date of first entry into the kingdom. To enter the kingdom using 30-DAY STAY WITHOUT VISA again, this can be done after the first 6 months ( from the first date you enter thailand). ---------------------------------------------------------- In theory this works fine but as you can see, when immigration has to calculate 90 day counts and then different 6-months periods you start to have little hiccups in the process. It's unavoidable. Edited June 16, 2007 by cali4995
