It's interesting if you begin life as a naïve dreamer who thinks that hard work and talent is enough to succeed.  "Just work hard and be nice."  As you age, you start to realise that those things aren't as important as networking, supreme confidence, connections and the class that you are born into.

Thank you very much for this wonderful example of how to waste perfectly good publishing space  and using many words for pointing out the obvious and dispensing utterly useless advice. What did he call that...? Ah, yes, "journalistic skills".

 

I hope for him that his golf magazine is a more entertaining and informative read than this piece of student newspaper-level journalism.
