Naew Na reported on a case of a snake being found in a house in Uthai Thani province in lower northern Thailand.

Thassanee Singhchom who lives in Muang district was casually walking out to a toilet at her house when she was confronted by a king cobra.

She said she screamed and dashed indoors only daring to peer out after some time to see that the snake had coiled itself up in a storage area for machinery.

B.B., a transgender at the rescue service and called "Mor Jap Ngu" (Dr Snakecatcher) by the media, led the rescue.

But B.B. didn't have matters completely in hand and at one point the 4 meter serpent fled to some undergrowth.

But a rope soon had the rampant beast under control - and plenty of time indoors for the pictures to prove it.
