Phone Call re Unpaid Traffic Ticket

Featured Replies

Seems another scam.

Mrs J received a phone call, while driving earlier today from 062 392  8603. Voice said something about an unpaid traffic fine. She ignored it.

Wouldnt be surprised if she ‘collects fines’ though … lol

Have you tried calling the number? doesn't look like premium rate number or anything. I'd be tempted to call and quiz them

I would need printed evidence of a traffic offense before paying anything. Some chancer on the other end of a phone call - no chance.

The public can call AIS at 1185, True at 9777, or Dtac at 1678 to report these incidents.

it's a scam, couple weeks ago I posted a warning about that specific number as scam.... nothing to worry about

No police will call you for any traffic bills.

they will send a mail which show proof of the crime (speeding or whatever it is) with a radar photo or police photo camera.

another thing is all that traffic bills sent to you from radar photos are not related or linked to traffic office. There will be nothing and yes, nothing happen if you dont pay them. I sold my old car with 13 or 15 speeding ticket on it!!!! and the oldest ticket was around 8 years ago

thats the new scam they are trying now. because their police scam is so much on the media they need to find a new way

I got one of these calls just now, just a computer voice saying in Thai that I have an Unpaid traffic Ticket.

Number was 06 5465 ****

Number immediately blocked
