A mother and her daughter in Bang Poo, Samut Prakan, told police they were having dinner when they noticed a smelly liquid running down the walls of their ground floor rented room.

They thought it was probably liquid from a spilt trash can so went to the upstairs flat to investigate.

The smell there was unmistakeable.

So no one from work noticed him missing, and didn't bother to phone him. RIP.

How do you know that no one phoned him?   Would he have picked up?

Not at work and not answering his phone might prompt a visit to his residence.

Just as likely to not have prompted that.

If people you know perhaps choose not to answer their phone for a few days do you rush round to bang on their door and impose yourself on them?

If a work colleague didn't show up to work for several days and also didn't answer their phone, I would likely go to their house or contact another person who either knew them or lived near them.  This seems like what most people would do.

You're question, perhaps accidentally, changed the details of the scenario considerably.  You might want to think about why. ????‍♂️

A man whose job it was to keep an eye on others and make sure they were safe, wasn't able to expect the same in return. ????
